Help Make My Film Production Journal Entry - December 13, 2003

Well, the first band rehearsal went well although I'm looking for another  drummer. I spoke with Manny and he's not sure that he fits into our picture.  He says he's not so concerned with the money, he just wasn't sure that  the style my guitarist was playing in would fit into what he was hearing  in the music. I told him that after I work with the other guys a little  more, if I haven't found another drummer (which hopefully I will), then  I'd like him to come back in and listen to what we're doing. He'll be hard  to replace because he's a great drummer, but I need someone who is fully  committed to the vision.

 We did get a lot of work done. We have the outline for the first two songs  of the band. Only the guitarist and bass player worked, the drummer just  kinda hung out while they played along as I sang. I can see that as soon  as we really dive into the music, we're going to have some great stuff.  Out of that music, the music for the film's soundtrack will be created  so I am excited.

 Well, it's late and I still have some things that I need to do for this  project so I'm going to do more work.
