Help Make My Film Production Journal Entry -July 15, 2003

 I've been so busy between setting up sponsors, rewriting and planning for  my first fundraiser that I have had a hard time finding time to update  my production journal. There is so much to do and it's only going to get  busier. This is the time when everything I do is focused around the balancing  the financial end and creative end so that nothing gets out of hand. The  beauty of this whole project is that I'm not under a deadline. Although  I don't want to spend more than a year getting this made, I know it won't  be overnight and I'm okay with that.

 At least I was able to secure two new sponsors, Delance Watches & Costumes, Etc. I haven't heard no yet to my pitches for sponsorship so that's encouraging. So everyday, I'm setting aside 1 hour to contact people to help with my  project. Whether it's the fundraiser or the film itself, I have budgeted  my time to include that important time. I'm using it to make phone calls  or write letters to go out. I've also budgeted 2 hours to rewrite my project,  although that one's hard to stick to. When I write I just need to get it  all out at that time. All this while I'm performing with my band Carousel  in local clubs and working to make a living. Oh well, I've done tougher  work making more money and never had so much fun. This journey is definitely  worth the personal sacrifices I'm making. So Far...

 We'll see if I can say that after this is all over.
