The Story: Everyone has a dream don't they?
Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Known for fun in the sun, where the boys are. The jewel of the eastern coast. But when the sun goes down, the boys stroll across town to play in the gardens of the underbelly of the city. The sullied streets of Fort Lauderdale all lead to Sistrunk Boulevard, where dreams are extinguished as quickly as they sprout up.
On the Boulevard, the lives of a small group of street hustlers and dreamers intersect with the ones who want to walk on the wild side. Jasmine a second-generation crack addicted prostitute, is one of the few whose dreams haven't completely faded from her years on the streets. When she meets a man who is willing to show her a way out through music, she finds herself confronted with a choice to succumb to her addictions or to follow her dreams to become a singer. Jasmine finds herself on a heart-wrenching journey towards her dreams and in the process discovers the beauty of her soul.
