Music for the film "Wildflower" has been in the works for the past three years. Teamed with guitarist/songwriter Giorgio Ardizzola, Evann Black has been writing and recording songs to be performed when filming begins. Bluesy rock accurately describes the music this duo is producing.

ABOUT GUITARIT/SINGER/SONG-WRITER GIORGIO ARDIZZOLA - One can say that GIO ARDIZZOLA truly is a veteran when it comes to Guitar Playing and Song Writing. At the early age of 15 worked with best friend and Bassist Wally Voss (Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine) to set the foundation for the style that has only been attributed to legendary guitarists. Founding member of the Fort Lauderdale band “The Kids”, Gio left for LA after a long and very successful run with the band playing along on the east coast. With a plethora of Jerry Lewis Telathons, festivals and east coast performances under his belt, Gio heard the call of the LA scene. Famed actor actually took his place in the band as its guitarist. .

Taking his future as a musician, Gio headed to LA where he could learn and play with the best. He enrolled in the reknowned school of music M.I.T., Gio was taught by the likes of Joe Pass, Pat Martino, Robin Ford, and Joe Diorio. After graduating, he continued to work and play in the LA music scene. His band Dr. Starr was the headlining act around the LA scene, sharing the bill with bands such as Motley Crue, Poison and others.

GIO ARDIZZOLA the Guitarist/Singer/Song writer has created a body of work rich and varied. His style seamlessly ties together Rock, Fusion , funk and blues. With each body of work created, he has shown remarkable stylistic growth and musical diversity, constantly experimenting with different sounds, textures, and genres. Occasionally, his music can be maddeningly inconsistent because of this eclecticism, but his experiments frequently succeed. Gio's contemporary writing and piercing solo's flourish diverse styles into a cohesive whole.

GIO first two CD's were solid, piercing Rock Fusion Grooves. He recorded his first masterpiece, FORCE OF IMPACT with several master players Vinnie Colaiuta / Mark Craney Drums, and Bassist John Patitucci / Tim Bogart at M.I.T in Hollywood, California. The CD landed in the hands of listeners & record executives at School further catapulting his reputation as an emerging artist destined for greatness. After doing some Jingle Radio and Television work in1985 GIO Toured with a LA based band (DR Starr) with bands Poison, Warrant, Bullet Boys, Motley Crue, and many more. One of his most notable performances landed him in front of 70 thousand people at the Farm Aid concert where his band opened for Willie Nelson, John Cougar, and Chris Christopherson to name a few. His band Dr. Starr was also tapped to star in the 1985 Roger Corman movie “Beach Balls”. The movie featured music compositions created by GIO ARDIZZOLA.

GIO has also played with Latin Goddess Maria Conchita and was featured in some of Maria’s music Videos. In 1990 GIO joined another LA based band called Sleeping Beauty produced by Rod Stewart. By 1999, with a solid reputation and diverse body of work, GIO was nominated as one of L.A.’s best Rock Guitarists, according to the Mark Varney section of Music Connection magazine. GIO Continued to play the LA circuit for many years sharing the stage with countless legendary performers.

Today, GIO continues to support the Jerry Lewis MD Foundation and contributes his efforts to many world-wide Causes. GIO produces ground-breaking music till this day.
